BMW E61 Diversity Modul
The BMW E61 Diversity Module is responsible for amplifying the key signal and the radio antenna.
Without it, the car will not open / close remotely and / or the radio will not find the stations.
In the case of the BMW E61, the failure of this module is a common error.
The reason for this is that the part has been placed in a place where it is constantly exposed to the vicissitudes of the environment, eg: Moisture, heat, wind.
Therefore, this component is better aged and corroded compared to well-protected ones. Many times, even non-corroded modules are destroyed due to undersizing.
Error identification
The vehicle becomes unopenable by remote control.

The car is able to used with removed Diversity Module, but the radio, remote control and keyless start functions do not work.
